Answer: Archie and Eli Manning

Archie Manning played quarterback for Ole Miss 1968 through 1970 and won the conference player the year in 1969. Archie Manning's son Eli played quarterback for Ole Miss 2000 through 2003 and won the conference player the year in 2003.

All possible answers were consecutive Heisman winners, and they all played at the halfback position. John David Crow won the award in 1957 as a member of the Texas A&M football team (giving the legendary Paul "Bear" Bryant his first Heisman winner). Pete Dawkins won the award in 1958 while at West Point. He went on to become a Rhodes Scholar and a Brigadier General in the US Army. Billy Cannon won the award in 1959, becoming the first LSU player to win the award. Cannon is most famously known for his play where he burst through seven tacklers on his way for a 89 yard touchdown. Joe Bellino won the award while playing as a Midshipmen at the Naval Academy.

Although Tech teams have been known as Blacksmiths, Engineers, and the Golden Tornado, the band fittingly has the same name as the official team name. Humorously, if one plays with words, the band's name is not dissimilar to the University of Georgia's Red Coat Marching Band.

Keenan is the name of UNC's football stadium, Doak field is the NCSU baseball field, and RBC Center is the basketball stadium.

Robeson's outspoken beliefs about civil rights brought him into conflict with the US government, and he was retroactively deleted from the 1918 college football All American team. His good name and records were later reinstated, and in 1995 he was posthumously elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.

Dan also wrote, "You Gotta Play Hurt", a fictional story that included TCU winning a National Championship, and has long been a supporter and fan of TCU football. Dan Jenkins wrote more than 500 articles for "Sports Illustrated" and has been the official historian for the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame. The movie "Semi-Tough" used TCU football players as extras.

A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Akers played for the Cardinals from 1993-1996. Akers kicked a school-record 36 field goals, the longest a 51-yarder against Texas A&M in 1994. He broke the record for the longest field goal in the NFL Hall of Fame Game with his 55-yard field goal in 2006, surpassing the previous record of 54-yards.

Since 1950, the winner of the Michigan State-Indiana game has been presented the Old Brass Spittoon. The trophy was initiated by the junior and senior classes and the MSU student council at Michigan State, and soon accepted by the IU Student Senate. The brass spittoon came from one of Michigan's earliest trading posts and is widely believed to be nearly 150 years old.

Dontrell Moore becamethe sixth player in NCAA history to rush for 1,000 yards four in consecutive seasons. Moore finished his school career with 4,973 rushing yards.

Wolfe was injured and missed two games. Despite this, he still finished 5th in the nation in yards rushing.

The number 12 was symbolic for the Army Academy. It represented the 'Corps of Cadets' or all of the Army students not on the field. The numbers 24 (Doc Blanchard), 35 (Glen Davis) and 41 (Pete Dawkins) were all also retired. Those three players were all Heisman Trophy winners.
